Find relevant local personal ads by checking city, category and intentions.
Start with the actual location
Use the home-page state and city filters or open a city page. Read the general area in an ad rather than assuming the person is close to you. A city page only shows live ads matching that city; no results means there are no matching ads showing there now.
Read more than the photo
Check the title, interests, intentions and boundaries before contacting someone. Hookups, Quick Dates and Dating describe different intentions. Eye Candy and Generous Dates are category names, not offers of paid companionship.
Understand the order
Active boosted ads appear before other ads. Newer boosts rank above older boosts. A high position is paid placement, not an endorsement or proof somebody is a good match. Listings stop appearing publicly when their time ends.
Make a respectful introduction
Mention an interest from the ad and make one clear, low-pressure suggestion. Do not send repeated unwanted messages. Respect a refusal or no response, and report suspicious content rather than engaging with it.
